A post dedicated to dad

Was pretty tired today after coming back from vet camp in Dusun Eco, Pahang, but gained back my so wanted energy after more than 12 hours of sleep....that is the most wonderful thing to do when u just came back from a camp...after nitez of improper sleep=).But tireness is not the only thing i gain after coming back the camp lar of course, i gained so much stuff tat i can't imagine i ever do from a camp.Lessons, experience, ups n downs during these few days n really have lots of fun!In short, it is real great!

Was actually concentrating checking some stuff on computer when dad came into computer room which i almost didn't notice till he went near the table n saw the books i bought(joanne help me to buy lar, not myself). These books is written by 2 Malaysian travellers went backpack to europe-asia in 2 years duration, named The Grand Overland Voyage part 1 n 2.Are really nice journals to read on...love them...=).But tat is not the story, me n dad had a little conversation then n it goes like this:

Dad: Mei(younger sis in chinese), u bought these 2 books??They looked new...Did u buy it??
Me: (continuing typing on msn) Yarrr, i bought it...i mean my fren helped me to buy it....Is about 2 travellers backpacked around the world for 2 years....
Dad: Wow!!!Really cool....then he continued to say: Will u go backpack like this next time???
Me: *Pretty surprise of dad's question n stopped typing, turned to dad* Wat u think??Do u think i will do tat next time??* really curious bout dad's answer*
Dad:*laugh a little*Yeah, u will...*in such a confirm tone*
Me: Why leh??why u think i will ler??*dad's answer really making me more curious*
Dad: Of course. you should go, Life is suppose to be like tat wart, adventurous, going around....*so enthusiastic when dad speaked*....
Me: * really surprised tat dad said such things, n heart melted*yeah, i will lar, but wont go for tat long...maybe 1 year...

Was really really touched by what dad said, really...was actually surprised tat dad was so open bout travelling in long duration( more than 1 year or so) cause it also means will leaving away from home for a long duration, not seeing each other for long time while travelling around..

I was really overwhelmed by dad's encouragement, he already knew that i will travel like tat the next time, n even tell me that life is suppose to be like tat! That is wat i really believed in all this while, n dad without any hesitation told me tat...I melted in happiness...

Come to think of it, ever since the 1st backpack trip i went(sarawak), dad was the one who always support me throughout the journey. He was the one who said' if u dare to go, then go' when i was hesitating over the Sarawak trip as there was only 3 of us, n me being the only girl.

Dad was the one who grapped the mouse n clicked on the booking button when i was hesitating whether to join my naima family(babysitter who took care of me n my siblings when i was young) to Cambodia as they have already book their flights. He clicked n said go lar..y not??the opportunity is right infront of u...n then handed me his credit card....was touched...n because of his encouragement i went through all the stupid hesitation n flied to cambodia, siem reap n phnom penh, embracing the 1 of the 7 wonders of the world--angkor wat after a week after i came back from Sarawak.

Dad, without fail, whenever i on my way departing to somewhere, he will text in a short msg, wishing me an adventurous n great journey ahead, even when that was 4 am in the morning!During my trips, i will always wished him goodnite n tell him that i m fine over the other places n he will replied: NOTED, GOODNIGHT TAKE CARE...(not that i want to use capital letter, but my dad always love using capital when texting msg..lolz)...

N the most touching is when i was walking on the night street in the middle of Bangkok city, along a night market which sells all all sorts of beautiful flowers, he texted in n said he will become a full vegetarian, n said he do loves animal, no killing them, on the day i successfully applied into Veterinarian Medicine course in UPM.

All the while, he keep supporting me even when i decided to go to Hanoi in next year june.Dad i love u always~~

But just because of me travelling often(not to say often lar but once a few months), i always feel like missing something over here. Everytime i arrive in lcct after like 10 days of travel, n looking out to the airport, then felt the humid warm air when i stepped down from airplane, n the view from the bus when i reach the so familiar kl central, everything in here just seems so unfamiliar...no matter how familiar it was when i m around.
I always have this kinda feeling when i m back here: i missed a week of here.i missed all the happenings here, n felt like i lost a week in malaysia, just like the feeling as if i have slept a week n never wake up in here, KL. So, i really wonder, how will it feel like if one day in future when i travelled like months n years away from home n this country n came back to here? The feeling must be 1000x stronger then the 1 i had...n because of this kinda afraid-of-losing-a-grip-of-life- over- here feeling i really hesitate whether i really should or not to do this-travel away from home in long duration.... not to say hesitate, but will shorten the days lar..at least...I missed home everytime i went off....

I promise myself to bring dad n siblings to somewhere they wana go n have a great holiday out of the mid of their busy hectic work when i have my holidays.n now my holiday starts....so is the time to check on air asia website, deciding another trip with family. It might be a short 3 days trip since is difficult for them to get away from work at the same time.but i hope it will be a splendid n memorable 1.it might be just local instead of overseas, but is going to be a great 1. I promise=) u guys just relax n let me do the preparation for the trip coming k?

Oh, n i decided to go back Kuching with few of my coursemates on next year june, few minutes before i post this. Cause the air tickets r real cheap lar..rm 85 return cant resist, but tat is not the main reason, the main 1 is because i really feel like going bako national park, wat a beautiful place it is lar, i m sure this time round the feeling will also be different as going with another bunch of frenz n diff places also.=)n There are still lots of national parks that i haven't have the chance to explore on my last Jan trip=)Looking forward to it!But bout mulu caves pinnacles climbing, i still would wana go with yeow hong n zhi jian if can, cause it will be real fun tracking there!!haha=)

Alrite guys till then~
